For instance, if you were used to giving him ten spoons of water after feeding, you can add two or three more spoons. While some solid foods increase constipation, others actually improve digestion and emptying of the bowels. Foods rich in fiber like pears, broccoli and prunes are most recommended. Additionally, you should go for cooked grains like barley and oats which are more helpful than the refined cereals.

  • Massage the baby’s stomach
