Tiny Nipples: The New Boob Trend in 2017?

Many women it seems will never be contented with the bodies that they have been born with, boobs included. For many years now, people have been divided on what makes up perfect looking breasts. Some would say that they need a boob job because theirs are just too small to begin with. Others on the other hand feel that their breasts are a little too big for comfort and want to have a breast reduction procedure. It’s no wonder women have always been subjected to criticism. Even the magazine Vogue calls it a crime to have a breast surgery.

Nevertheless, the boob job industry will continue to be stronger this 2017. Now, overall size is not the only thing that matters anymore. The Plastic Surgery Group has recently published their predictions in the field for cosmetic procedures for this years and here’s what they said about the nipples – the number of women who have requested to have a smaller nipple size increased by 30%.

One surgeon noted that women no longer just visit the clinic to make the breasts a size larger or smaller; women are now requesting a localized procedure for the nipple area. Now, there are several cosmetic procedures specifically designed to address the nipple.

To make a point, The Plastic Surgery Group even conducted a study that included 131 participants. These people were asked to rate the attractive of nipples of varied sizes. Those that occupied 25 top 30% of the breast got the best ratings. In comparison, nipples that were 50% larger than the breast were considered too big according to the participants.

The study only implies that smaller-sized nipples are more attractive. Of course, this is just their prediction but who knows? Some women out there might have already booked for a nipple reduction surgery after the trend has been announced.

It seems to me we should be putting more emphasis on breast cancer awareness then cosmetic procedures.
